ZTE Brings its Flagship $549 Axon 10 Pro to the United States

Chinese companies have had a rough time trying to do business with the United States in recent history. As tensions continue between the territories, there’s no doubt that certain companies will continue to face hardships. One of those companies will likely be ZTE, but at least there appears to be a glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel, and today’s news confirms that.

According to a press release, ZTE is bringing its flagship-level smartphone, the Axon 10 Pro, to the United States. The device originally launched exclusively over seas, but now, it’ll come to American shores for just $549.

The phone includes a 6.47-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display, a Snapdragon 855 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, three rear cameras, a 4,000mAh battery, Quick Charge 4+, and 256GB of storage. That’s a pretty solid phone for under $600.

In addition, ZTE ships the Axon 10 Pro with near-stock Android 9 Pie. Assuming things go well, the phone will even get updated to Android 10. I say “assuming things go well” because we don’t know what’s gonna happen between China and the US in the future, and there’s no telling what it might mean for companies like ZTE.

Regardless, if you’ve wanted to buy the Axon 10 Pro in the past but couldn’t because you’re located Stateside, today’s your lucky day.

The Axon 10 Pro is up for preorder starting today through Newegg, B&H, and ZTE’s website. The phone should start shipping sometime in September.
