Today, Apple has cut off iTunes Radio, their formally free service which allowed users to create radio stations based off artists, songs, and genres, for people who don’t have an Apple Music subscription. This comes just a couple of weeks after Apple sent out this email to customers stating that this change was coming:
However you can’t use iTunes Radio without paying $10/month, you can listen to Beats 1 for free. But to me, that doens’t make sense. I would’ve kept iTunes Radio free and made Beats 1 a paid feature of Apple Music considering the content played and the fact that it’s commercial free. But I’m not Apple, am I?
