You Can Now Try Out Google’s Daydream View at Verizon Stores Nationwide

Google’s Daydream View VR headset looks to be a go-to option for those interested in the world of VR, especially if those folks own a Google Pixel or Pixel XL. However, some may be skeptical and not sure whether they’ll like wearing the headset to enjoy content. Hence, to make your buying decision easier, Verizon now allows anyone to walk into a participating store and try out the Daydream View for themselves.

The app that Daydream View demos will be using to show off to the public is the official game based on the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It’s currently unknown whether other games or apps could be used for the demo, so stay tuned.

The entire demo will be powered by the Google Pixel, while those interested will be able to use both the headset and controller inside the Verizon store before they decide whether to buy one or not. Several stores across the US will be hosting the demos, so to find out if your local location is hosting them as well, click here.

Once your demo is complete, you’ll be able to pick up a Daydream View headset right on the spot. It’s likely that you’ll also be offered a Google Pixel or Pixel XL, so keep that in mind in case you’re also in the market for a new smart phone.
