Instagram has announced a new feature that’s now rolling out to all users of its direct messaging platform: voice messages. Starting today, iOS and Android users of Instagram’s app can send audible messages to other users by tapping the microphone icon and recording what you want. Other platforms have had this feature for quite some time now so it makes sense to see Instagram finally adopt it.
The latest update for Instagram should be rolling out now. If you don’t have it yet, you should get it within the next few days since global roll-outs can sometimes take a little while.
