You Can Now Load Your Boarding Passes and Tickets into Google Pay

Google has announced at I/O 2018 its updating its Google Pay mobile payments app with support for storing your boarding passes and tickets. This comes after the app added support for public transit back in March.

According to the company, Google Pay can now store your boarding pass so you don’t have to carry it around with you wherever you go. You’ll also be able to add tickets for things like concerts and movies. You can even add a bunch of them to your wallet if you’ll be attending an event in a group.

Additionally, Google Pay will now give users access to a messaging interface where they can get notified of updates regarding departure times for things like flights and other developments.

The update is rolling out to all Google Pay users starting today.
