Last month, we reported that Moto would finally release their somewhat-hit 2016 flagship smartphone the Moto Z via multiple retailers for $699 and totally unlocked. Before, you had to go through Verizon to get your hands on this handset. But now, you can grab yourself a unit of the phone we praised for being very speedy and fluid over on Moto’s website, Amazon, Best Buy, and even B&H for use on your GSM carrier (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc).
For those of you wondering, the Moto Z Force, the shatter resistant version of the standard Z, will remain an exclusive to Verizon unfortunately.
These retailers in question will also be selling Moto Mods to accompany the Z. However, unless you absolutely need them, don’t bother picking them up as they’re very pricey (especially that project which costs $299).
