watchOS 2.2 Beta Now Out for Devs

Today, along with the iOS 9.3, OS X 10.11.4, and tvOS 2.2 betas, Apple seeded developers with the first build of watchOS 2.2. The update can be found by going to the Developer Center and signing in with your Apple Developer account.

The public beta of watchOS 2.2 hasn’t come out yet, but we’ll let you guys know when it does.

We’re still exploring this new beta from Apple, but when we find new stuff, we’ll let you know. If you find something new, let us know with a comment.

Today has been a crazy day for Apple’s software, as we saw four new betas released, with two (iOS 9.3, OS X 10.11.4) coming out before the previous version numbers (iOS 9.2, OS X 10.11.3) ever exited the beta stage. And it’s not like these were small updates, either, just filled with bug fixes and junk. The new iOS beta features a lot of new stuff, plus the new tvOS build has support for folders now and a native Podcasts app. I’m not saying the new OS X and watchOS betas are insignificant, they just haven’t been figured out yet, that’s all.
