Wanna Fill in Blanks From Trump & Clinton Quotes? There’s an App For That, and You Play it With Friends

Did you ever watch a Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton rally and hear one of them say something you wish you could change? Well, there’s now an app for that, and it’s called “Instant Regret ‘He Said/She Said’ Election 2016”.

The developers behind the app Instant Regret have released a special edition of their game for the Presidential 2016 Election season which allows 4 to 11 players fill in blanks from within sentences and quotes said by both presidential nominees Trump and Clinton during campaign rallies, at special events, and even during last night’s first debate where plenty of words were exchanged between the candidates, for better or for worse. To ‘moderate’ the game, one player is assigned as the judge who then awards one team with a point according to who he/she thinks gave the best performance. Whether you quote the presidential hopefuls accurately or if you say something gut-bustingly funny instead, you’re guaranteed to have a good time, at least according to Blue Loop LLC.

Let’s jump inside the app for a second. Here’s three lines from Instant Regret He Said/She Said you’ll see during gameplay:

  • Hello, everyone. It’s great to be here at ________. – Hillary

  • You can read the full 7-point trade plan on my website, ________.com. – Trump

  • The Tea Party is actually ________.

Those blanks in the sentences are where you’ll type in your input. Here’s an example of what you could say:

  • Hello, everyone. It’s great to be here at Universal Orlando, California. – Hillary

  • You can read the full 7-point trade plan on my website, huuuge.com. – Trump

  • The Tea Party is actually the name of The Mad Hatter’s reality show.

So as you can see, you really can have some fun with this game. Of course, political junkies will probably like it better than others, but it’s nevertheless a pretty sweet way to keep the momentum surrounding Decision 2016 alive and well.

As additions to the main gameplay of He Said/She Said, the devs have also included:

  • The ability to invite friends via email, SMS or Facebook Messenger.
  • Cheat Points earned by sharing the game or completed game sentences on Facebook or Twitter, adding a strategy element by giving players the option to convert Cheat Points into game points to get a leg up on the competition.
  • Leaderboards and personal achievement badges that track the most-liked answers, players with the most likes received as well as the most points and most games won, and a variety of individual player milestones to help keep gameplay competitive.

As more and more debates and rallies are held, Blue Loop LLC will update this game with more phrases and quotes from Trump and Clinton you can fill out with your own take. So as time goes on, Instant Regret ‘He Said/She Said’ Election 2016 will get better and better. For more information on this new app, below is the full press release alongside the description of the app.

Instant Regret ‘He Said/She Said’ Election 2016 is available as a free download via the App Store exclusively for iPhones starting today. We’ll let you know if the app makes its way to other platforms like Android and Windows Mobile in the future.
