Many people (via Reddit) have been reporting that Verizon has begun to roll out Android Marshmallow to LG G3s on their network via over-the-air. This comes as a shock to many as lots can recall the G3 was one of the last phones to get Lollipop, and now it’s one of the first to get Marshmallow. It even beat the BlackBerry Priv, which only came out in October, to the punch, which is set to receive Android 6.0 next week.
Owners of the LG G3 D855 model, F400L/K/S models, and now Verizon owners, have all hit the jackpot as of yet with the new update, however it’s going to be interesting to see whether this two year old beast will get the latest version of the software when it’s released.
