After the new software began rolling out to customers on Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint, T-Mobile users can expect Android 8.0 Oreo to hit their LG V30 soon. The carrier and company began rolling out the update to users on the Magenta network. Mind you, not many are seeing the update yet, but things should improve in the next few days.
The Android Oreo upgrade for the V30 includes standard Oreo things like picture-in-picture, better battery life, improved speeds, and more. However, V30 owners can also expect the same ThinQ features we saw on the V30S which includes a new AI Cam that can help improve your photography game. While nothing major, this upgrade is certainly welcome.
To install, head to the software updates section of the Settings app on your V30. We suggest jumping on Wi-Fi before doing so in order for your data to not get eaten up in the process.
