Snapchat Gained a User, and it’s the First Lady

Pretty much everyday, someone new joins the popular social networking app Snapchat. Kim Kardashian’s on it, Mario Lopez’s on it, and even Blake Shelton recently signed up. Now, obviously, the next in line for the Snapchat account holder throne is… Michelle Obama, the First Lady of the United States.

So why would Michelle join Snapchat anyway? What purpose does she have on the platform? Well, according to The Verge, she joined the app to post snaps of the White House itself while also giving us a peek inside her personal life alongside share some memories from her various trips she has upcoming like Liberia, Morocco, and Spain.

Mrs. Obama has already started sharing some snaps from inside the White House of herself and most notably James Corden who took her out today to record a special edition of The Late Late Show host’s world-famous segment Carpool Karaoke. And I can already tell that YouTube video is gonna go viral like 20 million times.

Anyway, if you wanna follow FLOTUS Obama, you can do so at snapchat.com/add/michelleobama.
