Samsung has begun to push out an update for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in South Korea. And this particular update happens to be Android Marshmallow. This comes more than a month after reports came in that the company was beta testing the update with some GS6 and GS6 Edge customers in the market.
Android 6.0.1 has been a wanted upgrade for many Galaxy S6/Edge customers all over the world, and it looks like those people are about to get what they wanted.
However it’s only South Korea that’s getting it now, it should only be a few days before we see the roll out begin in the U.K. as that was also part of the beta testing program. And hopefully some time this week we’ll start to see unlocked models in the U.S. begin to get the update.
