After unveiling the phone earlier this month, Samsung has officially launched its much-anticipated Galaxy Note 9 smartphone. The device is launching today in the United States, Korea, Canada, China, India, all of Europe, and all of Southeast Asia. It’ll roll out to over 130 countries over time.
The Galaxy Note 9 comes with a fully-loaded spec sheet. Onboard is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD+ display, a Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 or 8GB of RAM, 128 or 512GB of storage, a 4,000mAh battery, dual cameras with a variable aperture, Android 8.1 Oreo, a Bluetooth-equipped S Pen, a headphone jack, stereo speakers, wireless charging, and IP68 certification. Samsung really threw everything it could at this generation of the Note, and it shows.
Of course, with so many astonishing features, you’d expect the Note 9 to cost a pretty penny. That’s the exact case here. The 6GB RAM/128GB storage Note 9 costs $999 and goes up to $1249 for 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. That’s a lot to ask for since this is a smartphone and not a laptop or something. Still, at least according to early reviews around the web, the device could prove to be worth it.
