Samsung is set to host an event on August 7th in New York to unveil the Galaxy Note 10. Beforehand, however, the company has a couple of additional announcements up its sleeves.
As teased in a new video, Samsung is set to unveil both the Galaxy Tab S6 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 before the Note 10 gets here. Specifically, the “new Galaxy Tab” will be unveiled tomorrow, July 31st. Meanwhile, the “new Watch” will receive an introduction on August 5th.
Multiple rumors point to the Galaxy Tab S6 as having dual rear cameras along with a metal build. It’ll have a dip in the back where you’ll be able to magnetically attach an S Pen which, arguably, isn’t a very elegant storage solution. On the inside, there should be a Snapdragon 855 processor, while the outside should sport pogo Smart Connector-style pins to support a detachable keyboard.
As far as the Galaxy Watch Active 2 goes, we’re expecting a near bezel-less screen with a touch-sensitive ring surrounding the display. It’s also said that the watch will come with an EKG reader, although it’s unclear if the feature will be ready at launch.
We’ll know much more about both of these devices when they’re unveiled in the coming days.
