Samsung has announced when it’ll unveil the next Galaxy Note: August 7th. The company confirmed the news to multiple media outlets in a late Monday press release.

The invitation the company is sending out makes it clear what’s on the itinerary is a new Galaxy Note, given the fact the S Pen is extremely prominent throughout each teaser. According to leaks (and given Samsung’s vast history), we can expect the new Galaxy Note 10 to debut at this event which will take place at the Barclay’s Center in New York. The show kicks off at 4 p.m. ET.
Rumors are suggesting the Note 10 will come in two sizes: one with a 6.28-inch screen and another with a 6.75-inch screen. Reports have mentioned in the past the phone might not come with a headphone jack, but others claim that port is here to stay. Meanwhile, design-wise, we’re expecting a similar design to the Note 9 but with much slimmer bezels and a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera which will live at the top in the middle.
Other rumors suggest the Note 10 could come in a special model with 5G.
What might make an appearance at the show are Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Home release dates. The former has been delayed due to hardware issues, with Samsung’s CEO calling the mishap “embarrassing.” Meanwhile, the latter has missed multiple shipping windows with no solid release time frame in sight. Hopefully, Samsung carves out a few minutes to talk about these products and give them proper launch dates.
