Samsung Will Announce the Galaxy S10 on February 20th

This week, Samsung announced the official date for when the company will announce its upcoming Galaxy S10 smartphone. According to the tech giant, the device will be unveiled on February 20th during an event in San Francisco. No other information was given, but reports have already surfaced claiming to shed light on what Samsung plans to announce.

First off, the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus will likely feature Samsung’s Infinity-O display technology, providing a hole-punch cutout in either top corner for the selfie camera. We’ll also see slimmer bezels, Snapdragon 855 processors, and other top-of-the-line specs we’ve come to expect from Samsung.

There’s also talk of a new type of phone being unveiled at the event as well in the form of Samsung’s first commercial foldable phone. The company demoed a working prototype of its foldable phone late last year and said a consumer version would begin shipping this year. In order to beat the inevitable load of foldable phones at MWC 2019, it’d be smart for the company to announce its foldable handset a bit earlier next month. The Wall Street Journal has more information about this rumor in their report they published this week.

All in all, there’s no telling what we could see at Samsung’s California event. Of course, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.
