Samsung Confirms May 2019 Release for Galaxy S10 5G

Alongside a Galaxy Fold-related announcement, Samsung today confirmed the Galaxy S10 5G would arrive in the U.S. in May. The company has been relatively silent in terms of release details for its first 5G phone, but we now know it’ll arrive before the summer hits.

Unfortunately, that’s the only thing Samsung is confirming. It didn’t say how much the phone would cost or when pre-orders would start other than the fact they’ll start “soon.” I’d imagine pre-orders would open in early May since the current rumored launch date for the device is May 16th. It should be sold at various U.S. carriers and as an unlocked phone directly through Samsung among other retailers.
