Samsung Announces Galaxy J3 Pro Handset w/ HD Display, Snapdraon 410, Android Lollipop

Samsung has announced a new addition to their Galaxy J series of smartphones, the Galaxy J3 Pro. This handset is essentially a slightly beefed up version of the firm’s J3 device, hence the “Pro” in its name.

The Galaxy J3 Pro sports a 5-inch 720p Super AMOLED HD display, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB (with 10.6GB available to the user) of expandable storage via microSD card, an 8MP f/2.2 aperture rear-mounted camera sensor capable of shooting 1080p video, a 5MP front camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop, NFC, and a 2600mAh battery which, while relatively small, should prove to push plenty of juice to the 720p resolution display and low-powered processor to get through a full day of use. All in all, this handset should prove to be pretty capable of normal, everyday tasks such as checking Twitter or email, surfing the web, or even playing some simple games like Doodle Jump or Crossy Road.
