Readdle today officially launched the Android version of its beloved Spark email app that has, historically, been exclusive to iOS. A short time ago, the company launched a beta version of the app for those running Google’s OS, but today, anyone with an Android phone can download the app from the Play Store for free.
With Spark, you get what looks like a pretty good feature set. The app includes email scheduling, granular notification controls, email snoozing, reminders, smarter search, and more. It also comes the same day as Google’s Inbox app dies, giving users of the now shutdown email client a potential replacement.
I have yet to give the app a try myself, but I’m a loyal Newton user. Maybe this app will sway me, maybe it won’t. But if you wanna give Spark a try, by all means.
