Three years ago, we launched the first version of Matridox known as MBEDDED. At that time, the landscape of technology reviewers and news websites was so overcrowded, it seemed impossible for us to ever make a difference in the way people consumed content. But we persevered. We wedged our way in and have become a favorited website amongst readers like you where people don’t just come to check out the latest gadgets but also to check in on the latest movies, games, and moves in Silicon Valley.
Typically, you’d exchange a leather gift at your third anniversary, but not this time, folks. In fact, for our third anniversary, we’re gifting you with three incredible updates that will make enjoying Matridox easier, more convenient, and more pleasing.
1. A New Look
We like to keep things super fresh here at Matridox, and our third anniversary is bringing a fresh design to our main site. As you can probably tell, things are quite different now. We have a more content-focused homepage filled with easy access to our reviews and other categories we’re promoting. You’ll also find clean animations, a silky-smooth browsing experience, and a few more ads here and there. The new design sums up the direction we want to take to grow Matridox even bigger over the coming years, and we hope you love it as much as we do.
2. Apple News Upgrade
We’ve had a presence in the Apple News app ever since it launched back in 2015. Since then, it’s remained a pretty static feed of our articles which, arguably, are more convenient to read over our main site. To make this experience better for our readers, we’re switching to the Apple News Format which provides a richer experience as you interact with our content. You’ll start seeing the change this week in your News app so be sure to search for “Matridox” in the near future.
3. Coming Soon: Matridox Weekly Briefing on Alexa
Lots of people are consuming more and more content nowadays via smart home assistants like Amazon Alexa. We want to be at the forefront of this new trend so we’ve begun working on the official Matridox Weekly Briefing Skill. You’ll be able to add it to your briefings via the Alexa app on your smartphone later this year. We have a ton in store for the Skill we can’t talk about yet so stay tuned to for all the details to be revealed in the near future.
