After revealing the handset yesterday, Oppo has announced pricing and availability information for its Find X flagship, a device with near non-existent bezels and a motorized slider on the back to house the cameras.
For those in Europe, the smartphone will cost you €999 which translates to around $1,155 in USD. This will get you 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It’s unclear how much a cheaper model of the phone will run for. Units begin shipping in August, but we’re not sure if this is true for both Europe and North America. Considering Oppo hasn’t confirmed pricing for NA just yet, however, I’d bank on Europe getting the first shipments.
The Find X sports a 6.4-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and no notch, a Snapdragon 845 processor, dual cameras, Android Oreo, a 3730mAh battery, no headphone jack, a USB-C port, and LTE connectivity. It’s a flagship Android phone through and through, but we’ll have to wait and see whether it’s actually worth the high price tag Oppo stamped on.
