After releasing the software for the OnePlus 6T from last year, OnePlus today has made the first Android Q beta available to install on the OnePlus 7 Pro. The beta gives users a first look at what’s coming in the next major version of Android, complete with notification tweaks, new navigation gestures, better security, and more.
Notably, OnePlus says there are some issues with this beta for the OnePlus 7 Pro. For example, the ambient display isn’t working, you can’t sen SMS while on VoLTE, navigation gestures don’t work, recovery mode doesn’t work, and there are plenty of system stability problems. But if you mainly use your OnePlus 7 Pro as a secondary device, none of these issues should bother you that much.
You can download the beta from OnePlus’ forums now. If you own a standard OnePlus 7, there’s also a beta for you.
