OnePlus is Unveiling the OnePlus 7T Series on September 26th

Whenever I write an article about a new event OnePlus is hosting to unveil a new phone, I typically say near the bottom that either “I’ll try my best to get in” or “I’ll be live at the event.” For the upcoming OnePlus 7T series, which OnePlus has confirmed to be an actual line of phones, I can’t say either of those lines without lying.

That’s because, unlike recent launches, the OnePlus 7T will not be formally unveiled at a live event here in the States. Instead, the company will host an live stream on September 26th, which can be viewed in the US, where the 7T and presumed 7T Pro will go official. There will be a launch event in India on the 26th, however, and another one in London on October 10th to celebrate the European launch of the phone(s).

We’re expecting OnePlus to unveil the standard 7T and a higher-end 7T Pro, much like the OnePlus 7 launch in May. Both phones should come with 90 Hz displays, Snapdragon 855+ processors, up to 12GB of RAM, and pretty large batteries. They’ll also look largely similar to the standard 7 and 7 Pro, only the camera modules on the back will come in a new circular housing with some odd design choices.

Since I won’t be attending this OnePlus launch, I’ll probably be chilling in Starbucks in the morning typing up a few articles about the new phones. There’s also a chance I’ll be writing about the OnePlus TV which is something we’ll have to keep an eye out for.

The OnePlus 7T will debut at 10:30 a.m. ET in the US.
