Official Site for Google I/O 2016 Now Live

Google has officially made the site for I/O 2016 live. In January, Sundar Pichai published a post to his Google+ page announcing the conference which will take place May 18-20. Registration for I/O 2016 will open on March 8th and end two days later on March 10th at 5 PM.

For tickets, you can pick one up for $900, while academic tickets will run you $300. Just like previous years, anyone can register for the conference between the registration period by filling out a form stating what Google technology you’re working with and why you want to attend the event.

As previously reported, Google I/O 2016 will be held in Google’s backyard at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. Interestingly, this arena can sit 22,500 people opposed to the 6,075 people that can fit in the ballroom usually used for the main keynote at Moscone West. This must mean that more people will be able to attend this year’s event opposed to previous years.

Will you be attending Google I/O 2016 or are you gonna sit at home and watch online?
