Moto’s P30 is a Shameless iPhone X Ripoff

Motorola has a new phone that will launch in other parts of the world in the near future called the P30. And right off the bat, it looks just like the iPhone X. In fact, it looks like both an iPhone X and a Huawei P20 what with the “Aurora” paint job.

I mean seriously, look at this thing. The dual cameras on the back are positioned the same way they are on the iPhone X, the Motorola logo is in the same location (this time around, it doubles as a fingerprint reader), there’s a big notch at the top, and there are little to no bezels. Honestly, we’ve seen iPhone X clones before, but nothing quite like this.

As far as specs go, there’s a Snapdragon 636 inside with 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of storage. The back houses dual 16MP and 5MP cameras, while a 12MP selfie shooter sits within the notch. There’s also a 6.2-inch 19:9 2246×1080 display along with a 3,000mAh battery, Android 8.1 Oreo with Lenovo’s ZUI on top, and three color options: black, white, or the special P20 ripoff Aurora.

The P30 (whoa, even the name is similar) will go on sale in China for ¥2,099 with 64GB of storage and ¥2,499 with 128GB of space. That converts to around $303 and $360 in USD, respectively.
