Motorola has begun teasing a new event it’ll hold on August 2nd at 2 p.m. local time in Chicago at its headquarters to unveil “a whole new way to connect, stream, download, video chat, and more.” What does all that mean? In the most basic of terms, it likely means there’s a new smartphone on the way.
Of course, since it’s Motorola we’re talking about, it’s always unclear what new smartphone they’ll be taking the wraps off at their keynotes. But considering we just saw the Moto Z3 Play launch, it’s likely we’ll see the new flagship Moto Z3 at this event. The device will reportedly come with a 6-inch 18:9 display, a Snapdragon 845 processor, a glass design, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Android Oreo, and upgraded cameras.
While things remain unclear as to what exactly the new Moto Z3 will feature, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop as we draw closer and closer to the August 2nd date.
