Motorola hasn’t been too successful in the flagship smartphone business over the past few years, having introduced multiple flagship offerings that didn’t go over well with reviewers and consumers alike. Of course, Moto won’t let this get them down as they’re gearing up to launch yet another new phone soon, this time the Z4, and renders of it have leaked courtesy of Evan Blass on Twitter.
The render seems to depict the Z4 as having a familiar design with a thin body made of aluminum, Moto mod compatibility on the back, and a chunky camera bump. This generation of the Moto Z will come with a notch and a larger screen, although we don’t know the exact dimensions. We can also make out a headphone jack at the bottom of the phone and what appears to be a speaker grille at the top. To be honest, I don’t actually know what this speaker grille-like component is, but I assume we’ll hear something about it soon.
Today’s leak lines up with a previous render that surfaced back in March. They look identical if you compare them, so it’s pretty safe to say this is probably the Z4 that Moto will debut this year. Unfortunately, we don’t have any pricing or release information just yet, but we’ll let you know when we do.
