Following a beta program over the course of a few weeks, Apple today released macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 as a free update for all supported Mac users. To install the update, head over to the “Updates” tab in the App Store and check for updates. There, you’ll find the new software ready to install. Just click the “Update” button next to the macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 listing and restart your Mac. The process may take a little while, so be patient and don’t turn off your Mac manually if you don’t have to.
As far as what’s new in macOS 10.13.6, there isn’t much to talk about. Apple is including AirPlay 2 playback within iTunes for the Mac, but other than that, there’s just some bug fixes and stability improvements. We likely won’t see another update with new features until macOS Mojave is released this fall. Of course, we’ll let you know of any notable updates between then and now.
