LG’s Gram 14 Laptop Has a 21 Hour Battery Inside

Yesterday, we shared the news of Toshiba’s latest 2-in-1 featuring 16 hours of battery life, but this story seems rather dwarfed over what LG just announced today. As a part of their new Gram 14 laptop, the company is promising up to 21 hours of battery life, something completely unheard of in a laptop of it’s size.

Taking a step back, the LG Gram 14 measures in at just a half-inch thick, so obviously a pretty incredible feat of engineering has taken place to shove 21 hours of battery into the laptop. Of course, many companies are pretty ambitious about their battery life claims anyway, so it’d be more realistic to think the Gram 14 now comes with around 16-17 hours of battery life, but that’s still impressive nevertheless.

Regarding the laptop’s other specs, there’s an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of SSD storage, Windows 10 Home, a 14-inch IPS FHD display, two USB 3.0 ports, an SD card slot, an HDMI port, and a headphone jack. All of this packs into a body weighing 2.16 pounds.

The Gram 14 is available now for $849. You can learn more about it here.
