LG Will Roll Out Alexa to its 2019 ThinQ TVs Later This Month

LG has announced that later this month, the company will roll out Amazon Alexa support to its 2019 ThinQ TVs. The update was first announced back at CES 2019 when the new television sets were unveiled. Unfortunately, we don’t have any word on when Apple’s AirPlay 2 will roll out to the TVs, but we do know it’s coming later this year.

With Alexa on your 2019 LG TV, you’ll be able to ask questions, use the thousands of Skills available, and control smart home accessories. You can also use Alexa Routines. These capabilities are available alongside everything Google Assistant can do which comes with LG’s televisions as well. So no matter what you wanna do, there’s probably a smart assistant that can help.

LG says those in North America will receive the update this month, while those in Europe and Asia will have to wait a few weeks.
