LG G8 ThinQ Makes an Appearance in New Leaked Image

There are lots of new smartphone that will soon make landfall, and one of them happens to be from LG. A newly leaked image from XDA-Developers is giving us a glimpse at that particular device, known as the G8 ThinQ.

In the image (seen above), we get a look at the device from the front, back, left, and right. Unfortunately, the bottom isn’t shown, but there’s a good chance it includes a USB-C port, a Boombox speaker, and a headphone jack. The front of the G8 houses a pretty large display with a sizeable notch at the top, while the back is where you’ll find dual cameras and a fingerprint scanner. Sorry futurists, no in-display fingerprint scanner here.

The image also shows off the G8’s button array which includes a dedicated power button, volume controls, and a Google Assistant key.

This leak more or less resembles the same renders OnLeaks published not too long ago. Therefore, it looks like we can expect the G8 to take on this design, despite what LG’s Ken Hong has to say.

LG is expected to unveil the G8 alongside a new 5G phone on February 24th. Stay tuned for the latest news from the event.
