Today at IFA 2016, Lenovo unveiled their latest offerings in the world of smartphones. Each of these devices share the same name, so we’re dubbing them the K6 family.
The Lenovo K6, K6 Power, and K6 Note each share very similar specs, however they do differ in some areas. Here’s a rundown of the specs found in each device.
- Octa-core Snapdragon 430 processors
- microSD card expansion
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow
- Bluetooth 4.1
- 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi
- Fingerprint sensors
- Dolby Atmos certification
- Dual-SIM slots
Other than those specs, each of the K6 handset differ in various forms. For instance, the standard K6 and K6 Power sport 5-inch 1080p displays, while the K6 Note has a 5.5-inch 1080p display. 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage come in the vanilla K6, while the Power can come loaded with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The K6 Note has the option of loading 3GB or 4GB of RAM with a set storage configuration of 32GB.
Battery sizes also differ slightly, with the K6 featuring a 3000mAh battery while the K6 Power and K6 Note sporting 4000mAh cells. You’re also getting a 13MP rear camera on both the K6 and K6 Power, while if you opt for the Note, you’ll get a 16MP sensor with phase detection autofocus. All three devices have 8MP front cameras, however.
At this time, we don’t know how much the K6 range of handsets will cost, however they’re expected to feature mid-range prices (think about $300 – $400). The devices are said to launch sometime this month, while countries besides the USA should get a hold of them.
