J. Cole Drops Massive Dreamville Album, ‘Revenge of the Dreamers III’ [Listen]

After building up plenty of hype around the project, J. Cole and his label, Dreamville, have released Revenge of the Dreamers III, a new collaborative project that features a ton of guest appearances. Dreamville signees EARTHGANG, Cozz, J.I.D, Ari Lennox, Bas, and Lute all jump on this album, and so does King Cole himself, Ty Dolla $ign, Ski Mask the Slump God, Vince Staples, T.I., and more. There’s even a surprise uncredited appearance by Kendrick Lamar.

Revenge of the Dreams III is the third entry in the Revenge series which stars J. Cole and artists signed to his Dreamville label. The last time such a project was released was in December of 2015 with Revenge of the Dreamers II. The first entry was released in January 2014.

To help set the tone for the project, J. Cole tweeted out the following statement before ROTD III dropped.

Same goes for the producers that go unheard and make beats all day every day hoping to cut through. To the producers and artists that came through but didn’t make the album, you are there in spirit. Thank you for your presence, the energy of those sessions was the most magical.
