Instagram is rolling out an update that lets users vote for things you post in your Stories with emojis. A new slider sticker will allow users to tell you how they feel about something, whether it be a new food kick or that fresh mixtape your favorite artist just dropped. In these two instances, you may use the licking-your-chops or fire emojis.
The emoji slider lets you ask more nuanced questions when you want to find out how your friends feel about something — like how 🔥 an artist’s new single is or how 🌶 they like their food. By choosing an emoji for your question, you also add a layer of emotional context that helps those answering understand your tone and answer accordingly.
According to Instagram, the new sticker is rolling out to both iOS and Android users now.
