Instagram has begun rolling out an update many users will be pleased with. For iOS users only, the social network is rolling out dark mode to the general public. This means if you’re running iOS 13 on your iPhone, you can enable Dark Mode in the Settings app and have Instagram change into a much less bright UI.
Dark mode in Instagram on iOS is basically the same as what’s available in the beta version of the Android app. You get a pitch-black background paired with light gray accents and white text. The only thing bright about the app will be the photos you see in your feed.
The update is a part of version 114.0 and is rolling out to all users now via the App Store.
