Huawei’s Honor Note 10 Comes with a 7-inch Screen

Huawei makes lots of smartphones and many of them fall under its Honor sub-brand. Today, there’s a new entry in that particular lineup: the Honor Note 10. It comes with specs we’re accustomed to seeing in other Huawei phones with one major exception.

According to the company, the Honor Note 10 comes with a giant 7-inch screen. Once upon a time, 7-inch displays were saved for small tablets. Now, though, with smartphone sizes increasing ever so frequently, it was only a matter of time until a major player in the smartphone market released a phone of this magnitude. While not the first to do it, it’s interesting to see Huawei release a phone with such a large display.

As for the specs, the Honor Note 10’s screen has a 2160×1080 resolution and uses an AMOLED panel with no notch. Under the hood sits a Kirin 970 processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, Android 8.1 Oreo, a USB-C port, and a microSD card slot. Sadly, there’s no headphone jack, but what more could you expect from a phone in 2018?

The back of the device houses dual 24MP and 16MP cameras, while the front houses a 13MP selfie shooter. There’s also dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 (why, Honor?), and a massive 5,000mAh battery on board.

The Note 10 will go on sale exclusively in China for ¥2799 which converts to about $410 in USD. An exact launch date wasn’t given, but expect it to land in the near future.
