Evan Blass is back at it again. Over on Twitter, the infamous VentureBeat leaker posted new photos of what he claims is HTC’s upcoming flagship, the U12 Plus. The tweet was followed by a full list of specifications that, ironically, is under embargo until May 23 when the company will unveil the device formally.

As you can see, it appears HTC will be sticking to its familiar Liquid Surface design language for this generation and will be implementing slimmer bezels than the U11 from last year (of course, with the exception of the U11 Plus). The phone will also sport dual cameras on the back with a fingerprint reader directly below them.
As for specs, the U12 Plus will come with a 6-inch Super LCD Quad HD+ display, a Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB of storage, a 3500mAh battery, a 12MP main camera and 16MP telephoto shooter on the back, dual 8MP front cameras, Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense on top, a USB-C port, no headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation, HTC Edge Sense, and Amazon Alexa pre-installed.

In Blass’ leak on Twitter, we basically get every single spec surrounding the HTC U12 Plus so you’ll want to check it out if you want all the details. But at least in terms of what we noted here, the phone looks to be a real contender this year in the Android flagship space.
Stay tuned as we’ll have much more regarding the U12 Plus next week.
