HTC has begun to roll out Android Marshmallow to the One M9, their 2015 flagship smartphone. The update comes right after LG began to roll out version 6.0 of the mobile OS to their G4 handset.
The HTC One M9’s firmware will be upgrade to version 3.41.651.3, and users will be able to take full advantage of all Google’s new features and improvements in the upgrade, like Now on Tap, better battery management, and custom app accessibilities. For a full rundown of all the new stuff in Marshmallow, head over to Google’s dedicated Android page.
To see if you got the update yet over-the-air, go to Settings > System updates > HTC software update > Check now on your device. However, don’t expect it right this instant. We suggest waiting a few days for the upgrade to roll out to more users.
