Last year, developers were able to dig through the HomePod’s firmware and discover what the next iPhone would look like. Now, they’re doing the same thing with the iOS 12 beta where well-known developer Guilherme Rambo was able to discover a silhouette of what’s likely the upcoming Plus-sized iPhone X.

As you can see in the tweet, the supposed iPhone X Plus features a clearly larger screen area than the iPhone X silhouette that can also be found in the collection of photos. The device also has a rather large side button, although there’s a good chance the images present aren’t finalized and will likely reflect the actual phones once they’re announced. This goes for the peculiar square icon as well which is said to be the upcoming bezel-less iPad Pro.
Apple is expected to unveil three new iPhones this year: one with a 5.8-inch OLED screen, one with a 6.5-inch OLED screen, and a lower-end model with a 6.1-inch LCD screen. A special dual-SIM variant of the 6.1-inch model will be sold exclusively in China. All three will come with the iPhone X’s design including Face ID and a notch, along with glass backs and support for wireless charging. We expect all three to ship with Apple’s upcoming A12 chip and iOS 12. Meanwhile, the two OLED variants will come with dual rear cameras, while the LCD model will come with just one.
