Google Unveils Wired USB-C Pixel Buds for $30

Google just announced the new Pixel 3 and 3 XL, the Pixel Slate, and the Google Home Hub onstage at the company’s event in New York. However, that doesn’t mean the company didn’t have anything else to share with the world. Over on the company’s online store, new wired Pixel Buds are up for sale.

These new PIxel Buds are essentially the same Pixel Buds we’re used to seeing. You can summon the Google Assistant via a button on the headphones, control volume, and get real-time translations all without reaching for anything more than your earbuds. The only exception is the fact they don’t connect over Bluetooth. Rather, they do so through USB-C. Because of this, each Pixel 3 and 3 XL buyer will get a free pair right in the box.

According to Google, the wired Pixel Buds cost $30 on their own and are compatible with most USB-C-equipped laptops, tablets, and smartphones. You can order them now from here.
