Much like an absolute ton of other retailers and companies at this time of year, Google is joining in on the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals for the holidays with some discounts exclusive to Google Play.
For starters, on Thanksgiving, you’ll be able to rent any movie you want from the service for just $0.99. This deal will only be active for 24 hours so you’ll have to act fast if you don’t want to spend more than that. You’ll also find a wide variety of recent movies all under $10 and TV seasons for 50 percent off.
As far as apps go, Google Play is hosting up to 80 percent off discounts on popular titles like The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Monument Valley 1 and 2, Geometry Dash, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Reigns, and Final Fantasy Tactics. This discount will also apply to select in-app purchases. You’ll also be able to take 50 percent off a yearly subscription to Calm, Fabulous, Run with Map My Run, and Freeletics alongside a 40 percent discount on Headspace.
Book-wise, discounts will be applied to lots of different titles like The Shape of Water by Guillermo del Toro and Daniel Kraus, Never, Never by James Patterson, and Every Breath by Nicholas Sparks. Plenty of titles will also be under $5. Audiobooks can also be had for under $10.
Finally, Google Play will also be offering a Starz subscription for $5 a month for the first three months.
