After unveiling the new finish early last month, Google has finally started shipping the Google Home Mini in Aqua to interested buyers. The smart home gadget still costs $49, but you can now have it in a light blue color scheme which looks pretty clean.
Aside from the new color, nothing else about the Home Mini has changed. So if you’re looking for, say, better audio quality, better microphone pickup, better voice recognition – none of that is here. This is the same Google Home Mini that launched back in 2017. Hopefully, next year, Google will give the smart speaker some much-needed love like Amazon did with the Echo Dot this year.
For those interested, you can pick up an Aqua home Mini through Google’s online store and Walmart.
