Renders of Motorola’s upcoming foldable RAZR phone have leaked on the web. Initially posted to Weibo and later re-uploaded by SlashLeaks, the renders appear to be official images of what the new-generation RAZR will look like.
As you can see, the RAZR comes with a pretty tall screen that will fold right at its center, the same way the classic RAZR did. This solution is different than past RAZR phones, of course, since the screen will physically fold like on the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X. There’s also a pretty chunky bezel at the bottom, but it looks like it’ll serve as a large front-facing speaker.
We also get a glimpse at the packaging the phone will come in. Instead of a traditional rectangular box, Motorola will opt for a triangular box with headphones, a charging cable, a wireless charging dock, dongles, and more inside. For $1,500, I would hope the RAZR came with all these goodies.

Unfortunately, the renders don’t confirm any specs or whether there will be a tiny screen on the front of the RAZR when it’s folded down. There is one render that shows the phone when it’s folded at a 90-degree angle, but we can’t make out any additional display. We can only see what appears to be a camera bulge.
We’re not certain that these are official renders of the new RAZR, but we’re fairly confident that they, at least, give us a good look at what the phone might be. It’s unclear when Motorola will release the device or even announce it, but we’ll let you know once we have more information.
