Google confirmed today during its I/O 2018 keynote that the initial wave of Smart Displays powered by the Google Assistant will arrive in July. We first heard of the displays back at CES 2018 with OEMs like Lenovo unveiling their own take on the device.
According to Google, users will be able to do things like reading recipes, control smart home appliances, and watch YouTube TV from the Smart Displays. You’ll also be able to use services like Google Duo, Alednar, Maps, and YouTube itself.
No word on pricing yet or exact availability, but we’ll let you know when more information becomes available.
