Download Remix OS 2.0 for Nexus 9 & 10 Here

Jide, the company that brought us Remix OS a just a few months ago, has made version 2.0 of their customized Android OS available for both the Nexus 9 and 10 alongside their Ultratable now that the company’s been able to roll out the updated system to current Remix OS users.

All the features from the desktop version of Remix OS will be present in the Nexus 9 and 10 builds of the software. This includes things like the task bar, a full-fledged built-in file manager, floating/resizable multi-window support, notifications, and more. And while this all sounds great for tablets like the ones listed, I’d really like to see the Pixel C become compatible with the ROM as that tablet has A LOT of potential and is simply underrated by Google.

Jide’s Ultratablet is also getting the update to version 2.0 of Remix OS. The Ultratablet is like a Surface that runs the company’s OS. It has a detachable keyboard, touch screen, and kickstand. And while it doesn’t seem like it now, the Ultratablet may become Jide’s way of showcasing their software one day as this hardware could prove to be popular if they up-sell it a bit more.

You can download the Nexus 9 Remix OS 2.0 ROM here and the one for the Nexus 10 here. If you happen to have an Ultratablet, Jide will push the update to you via OTA, so no flashing is required.
