Today, Google released the very first beta build of Android Q for test-driving on a Pixel phone. The software is compatible with every Pixel phone released so far, including the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, and Pixel 3 XL. We’ll be installing the beta on a Pixel 3 XL we have in the office so stay tuned for coverage.
In the mean time, if you wanna take the latest version of Android for a spin on your own phone, you can do so by downloading the build and flashing it to your device via the links below. We also included the links to the OTA images you can use to receive the new beta over the air.
Due note that this initial build is bound to come with plenty of bugs and rough edges. Therefore, it might not be a good idea to install it on your main phone. Then again, it’s your funeral.
