Deal: Amazon Prime is Dropping to $73 This Weekend (But You Only Have Until Sunday)

This weekend, Amazon is dropping the price of their Prime membership service to just $73 for the first year – down from the original $99. This comes as the company hopes for more people to sign up for Prime thanks to the fact that members get an extra 20% off video games.

The discount will officially be live tonight at 9 PM PT and will end on Sunday at 11:59 PM local time. All the benefits of Prime will remain the same for people who sign up for the service and pay just $73.

Amazon Prime is Amazon’s membership service where people who sign up can access free on-demand TV show, movie, and music streaming, free two day shipping on all orders via Amazon.com eligible for Prime, 20% off video games available for pre-order and two weeks after they launch, unlimited cloud-based photo storage, and other benefits.
