Captain America: Civil War Has Been Screened – Here’s What Early Viewers Have to Say

Captain America: Civil War, the next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has received it’s first private screening exclusive to the press and invitees. And, surprise, the crowds really liked it.

In case your unfamiliar with this new film, take a look at the summary on IMDB:

After another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps, one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Essentially, Captain America and Iron Man both want to be the leader of the Avengers, however each have their own beliefs and opinions which has ultimately led to them alongside other members of the team battling out to decide who should be the head of earth’s mightiest heroes. And to little shock, early viewers love this concept and film altogether.

Here’s just some reactions found around Twitter that explain the excitement amongst these early-goers:

As you can see, so far, there’s plenty of hype built around Captain America and Iron Man… and especially Tom Holland for his role as Spider-Man, someone who just recently entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe and isn’t supposed to come out with a movie until next year. I don’t really know about Holland that much, however if these tweets are of any indication, he may be the greatest Spider-Man yet… you know, right next to Toby Maguire. Like him or hate him, Maguire was the best web slinger hands down, and you know that.

Anyway, thanks to these tweets, we now have some initial first impressions to base our experience at the movies off of when everyone goes to see the latest Captain America film. I’m actually really relieved to see this kind of excitement being built around it, as I was a little skeptical about the general plot of the film, however as long as I can trust the people who are talking on Twitter like this, me and my family are gonna have an awesome time at the movies this summer!
