BlackBerry Key2 Will Launch on July 13th for $649

BlackBerry has announced a release date for its latest smartphone, the Key2. According to the company, the device will land on July 13th and cost $649.99. Preorders begin June 29th. It’ll be sold through Amazon and Best Buy and be available unlocked. Two color options are available at launch: black and silver.

For $650, you’re getting a pretty decent smartphone. The Key2 comes with BlackBerry’s signature physical QWERTY keyboard that’s been updated for 2018. You also get a 4.5-inch screen, a Snapdragon 660 chipset, 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, a 3500mAh battery, Android Oreo, USB-C, a headphone jack, and BlackBerry’s productivity software. Considering how well the KeyOne did last year, I have a feeling the Key2 will be a hit amongst early adopters as well.
