Apple has confirmed that the new Beats Powerbeats Pro wireless headphones will go on sale May 10th. The earbuds will cost $249 and be available in black at launch. Preorders begin this Friday, May 3rd.
Announced earlier this month, the Powerbeats Pro will provide an alternative to Apple’s AirPods and create a new solid entry in the world of truly wireless earbuds. They offer a more secure, waterproof design and up to nine hours of battery life. The headphones use Apple’s new H1 chipset for better connectivity, sport “Hey Siri” support, and ship with a charging case.
It isn’t clear when the Ivory, Moss, and Navy colors will be made available, but we’ll let you know when they land.
